I see... a Rorschach? An ink-blot test? A thought-provoking randomization? (<--is a failure in the imagination department.)


Now, outside of the stars, I see well-done prints in the snow, and gorgeous musculature. The choice of poses also harmoniously compliments the background ridgelines. Very nicely done, indeed.

The whole thing was rather unintentional...so there's not really anything that you're supposed to see. Maybe it is a Rorschach... And I have seen the product of your imagination! You cannot lie to me! XD

Oh wow, Bec they look totally gorgeous there! Seriously, the poses are so relaxed, and I love Vatigo's especially. That would have been hard to do, but it's believable so I'm giving you EXTRA cookies XD
We gotta do a trade some time, definetly. *is hoping she hasen't crossed the art/trades line*

Like, I'm here looking going wow, I wish I had that skill. Their coats are so believable, they're not like shiny Summer coats, they're fluffy Winter coats and they're -in- their environment, you know what I mean? Like it's one image, not all separately done and finally just pieced together. I really, really like it. Really like it. LOVE IT!

And I see's what's in the stars too hun! Good to see you've put in your other style and totally pulled it off! Haha!

Thank you so much hun! -noms teh extra cookies- I'm so glad you noticed the fluffy coats! That was the first time I tried to make "wintry" coats. :3

And it was a pain in the butt to do those poses! But really fun too. Definitely a challenge.

We should definitely do a trade! You haven't crossed the line m'dear, not at all. I'm almost always willing to do a trade with friends. :3 -point points at the note button-

Poor dear! I definitely know how that is. I can't afford to actually buy Christmas prezzies for the family (except for my nieces and nephew because I could be dirt poor and I would still get them some awesome something -spoils them, loves being an auntie!-) so I'm doing paintings for ALL of them. And then there are the DA folks who need love too.

I know! Hehehe I was lunch yesterday (in the dining room at school) and I thought -out loud- about starting Christmas presents about three weeks ago. You should have seen their faces! HOLEY SHIT MEELZ WHATTAYADOING?!?! I was like... lulz. Online gifts yer moo's!
But yeah they were mortified that I would be starting THIS early.

I can't imagine starting three weeks ago! I'd be pulling my hair out already, lol. But yeah, I have to make myself start before November. I wanted to wait a little later this year - the ones I gave them last year were from while I was still "developing" and learning the digi-art ropes. XD So I see them now when I go to visit my relatives and I'm like "Nooo! Put it away!"

Actually there's one that I started in March (coz I knew it would take AGES and I didn't have time to do it for about 4 months there ) You'll see it around Xmas time

Aww, thanks hun. I definitely try to. Feels kind of like I've hit a plateau lately though. But such is art.

And nope, not Christmassy at all. My mom, dad and stepmom, and stepdad are getting pet portraits of our siamese, favorite horse, and boxer, respectively. And my grandma is getting that lighthouse thing I was telling you about earlier. And probably another buttload of bookmarks, lol. My sisters...I'm still thinking, lol. What about you? Going festive with yours?

Heh, yeah definetly. NEVER rains, but it always pours, right? Never a little bit to do but always a frikkin' avalanche of art to do The thing is getting it done
Hmm, about the festives, I don't think so. Not for the giftarts for people online, anyway. because if they (heh) would want them printed out and say put on their walls or something then they would only be "good" for a day- Christmas! So I'm thinking if I make them sort of timeless and dateless, they could be kept and done with what they please.
Sort of have to keep into account that whilst some people's religions are against Christmas and I am halfway (opinion based) I'll just do things that imply Christmas but don't scream it.
Because I'm a smartarse like that!

For the most part, I did everythng the same. I did use a larger brush to paint the manes and tail, and I left the sketch on at a low opacity. Actually...I didn't smudge the horses at all. That might be it. I just painted everything twice as large then shrunk it down. So...maybe.
