No, it's not real blood, it's fake teathrical blood, I bought it in a theatrical make-up shop here in Turin, but I think you can find it in every theatrical make-up shop

Cmq sì, 23⬠per davvero... ma a parte che l'abbiamo pagato in due, li vale davvero i soldi perchè inzanzitutto devi dilurilo quindi da 250ml ne ricavi anche 300-350 a seconda di come lo diluisci; e poi va via davvero con niente... un po' di acqua e via, non lascia tracce

I was expecting scars, personally.
Though, THE most painfull way to say it is - undoubtedly - After they are DEAD... when they can no longer hear you, nor benefit from the warmth of your words.
How nice it must be to live in a world where spilt blood constitutes the most horrific of visions... ...

Actually I thought about scars. But, you know, is really really hard to make realistic scars -if they aren't true...- and I was alone during taking these photosgraphs... more harder, then.
But think, if someone made this means he/she is dead, since hey, where do all this blood come from? Cutted veins, the answer. You can see the razor blade on the right. How sad to spend the last moments of our own life to say something that maybe will be never reached to person we love...
I'm not trying to say "you must like it! you must like it! Γ¨__Γ©" of course, just explaining my point of view
Oh, and last but not least, I agree with you last sentence, it should be great. Believe me, this is just the happier of my nightmares
