You are very good at coloring dark skin. Many artists make the mistake of using limited colors for a dark character like Bultungin. Your choice of shades, and the way you capture how light affects dark skin is excellent. I enjoy your dark skinned characters and look forward to seeing more. The small accessories and details you add give them a lot of personality.
In African folklore, mainly Ethiopia, the Were-Hyena is called the Buda. According to the legends, they can drain away the life force of someone who looks into their eyes. In some legends they are healers.

Oh, thank you for your comment about my art, and also interesting knowledge!
Would you tell me your source or a book about that folklore, if you remember it? I hope to read it!

There was an Ethiopian Restaurant where I loved to eat(if you ever get a chance try Ethiopian food, it's great). My source is the restaurant owner; he was very knowledgeable about Ethiopian history and folklore and we would often have long discussions.
Buda is similar to "Hiei's Jagan". Buda refers to the power of the Evil Eye. All those born with the power of Buda can cause harm with their eyes, but they have to learn to transform into Hyenas. The Buda ability is said to cause bleeding and pain. As a result they are often simplified as being similar to vampires by drinking blood.
All legends come about for a reason. The dominant ethnic group in historical Ethiopia were the Christian Amharans. They had a caste system that consisted of Major Nobles, Minor Nobles, Artisans(skilled laborers), and Slaves.
Since the Artisans were close to the bottom and generally looked down upon, they formed secret societies to strengthen themselves as a group. In the folklore, Buda are almost always said to be Blacksmiths and artisans ; in reality this was a way for the nobles to socially marginalize the people in the artisan caste and make people suspicious of them. Hyena attacks on people could be the fault of the Artisans. Although even today there are people in Ethiopia who will swear the Buda is real.
The first book I linked to is "Vampire Universe: The Dark World of Supernatural Beings That Haunt Us." The second book I linked to isn't a mythology book at all "Socialization and Social Control in Ethiopia" but supports the historical context the restaurant owner explained to me.

They're beautiful all over, and their outfits are wonderfully sexy. I especially love the plaits on Bultungin, they look amazingly detailed. The eyes and animal features are well detailed too, there's a lot to love about this.

Amen to that - their butts are eye-catching, that for sure, but the sheer attention to detail in the rest of their design is great as well.
Their ears in particular look really soft and fluffy.

Indeed, that's true. There's a lot of effort in this.
