I've said it once, and I will say it again: SoarinxDash is my favorite ship.Probably the most hugely huge thing I've made. I did all of this using Paint.net and vectors from Best Night Ever (except the Wonderbolts suits, which I used from 's vector).
Sorry for using "strong language", but I am crap when it comes to dresses. I had to ask my little sister to give me a few pointers. So, I dedicate this to her, as her birthday was yesterday (she's not a fan of the show, but she has a, how should I say it, reluctant appreciation of it, I guess).
Yes, this was the big project I was talking about. I'm not immensely proud, but it did take me a good portion of the last six or so weeks. If you were expecting anything else, sorry to disappoint. But, hey, now I can get back to business. My earlier watchers know what I mean.

So you hate it only becouse Appledash is your OTP right? AppleDash is not cannon too, but people still ship it. I mean, there's nothing wrong with not liking something, but making anti shipping accanouts is a little silly, don't you think?
I personaly ship SoarinDash, but I have nothing against AppleDash or SpitSoarin. I also support people who ship them And I want people to stop shipping wars, becouse it's a little anoying when someone like you post another comment like yours Would you like to read comments like: "Appledash sucks lmao only gay ppl ship it lol they're friends only so shut up appledah shipers cuz my shipp is infinity times better" under every Appledash artwork? I don't think so

Wow. This is an excellent question, one that will definitely take some time to explain.
Well, the reason I do SoarinDash so often is that I truly believe that it is a plausible ship.
As for my focus on heterosexual ships, I need a really good reason to do a piece centered around a homosexual couple. I take homosexuality very seriously, and I want to make a piece that reflects that.
That's not to say that I support homosexuality, because... well, I don't. And before anyone of you reading this writes me off as a middle-class, conservative homophobic, I want to make some things perfectly clear: I acknowledge that there are people who are physically attracted to other people of the same sex, and I respect those people who state that fact in the face of adversity. However, it is my most sincere belief that sex is meant between a married man and a woman (married to each other), directed at the fulfillment of one another rather than themselves, open to the possibility of children. This is not a "life choice", this is something that I am convinced is fact. If you wish to discuss this topic further, I ask you and encourage you to write me a note rather than flood this thread with debate.
I truly hope that this enlightens you on my perspective. Regardless of whether or not you agree with it, I'm actually kind of glad you asked. If or when I do a deviation on a homosexual ship in the show, I swear that I will make it as dignified and genuine as I can. I may do LyraBon, since that seems to be a staple fanon ship of the show.

Every pony bride would lie, cheat and steal to have a princess as their mare of honor. Knowing Rainbow Dash, she probably did all three--even after Twilight said she'd do it. They were close friends long before Twilight got her wings and crown, so having her leading the bridesmaids (bridesmares?) is only appropriate.
Great job on this deviation! Very sweet and wonderful, in the spirit of the TV show.

The only reason Soarin' chose Spitfire as his best mare because.... I don't know. I was just continuing the tradition of 'best mare' as seen in "Canterlot Wedding". I'm not sure Equestrian weddings even HAVE 'best stallions'.
