Well that's a good drawing if you were going for the science fiction/movie type 'raptor', but I gotta say for a velociraptor mongoliensis that's a heavily inaccurate depiction. Sorry it just is, I don't know why everyone on here is saying it's accurate. But it's beautifully done however inaccurate it is.

Its a great picture. Nicely drawn. However, velociraptors were feathered. They actually do not look like the ones seen on "Jurassic Park."

Well, I must first point out that you made a slight mispelling on 'mongoliensis.' Easy mistake to make, no biggie. Second, I must say that I am slightly unnerved by the fact that I currently have the feeling the raptor is looking at ME... almost as if it's staring into my soul!
Anatomically correct, it has the S-shaped neck of a true dinosaur, the slight bulge of the throat, even the teeth are almost exactly right.
WHAT DO YOU LOOK AT WHILE DRAWING THESE???
I must know, so my drawings can be 100% anatomically correct. I find it's best to draw with a reference, rather than from memory. Although, I can draw a pretty good Gorgonopsian...*points to sketch which should be up on DeviantART soon*

Thanks! when I drew this dino I wasn't looking at any reference, but yes, I do some research before drawing any dino (I look up the skeletons on google, and sketch them, draw different views, and then try to draw it from memory

Hmmm.. Yeah, I draw like that sometime, though I generally have some references close by.
Matter of fact, I have a portrait of a T.rex head up now. It is just a sketch that I plan to do more detailed views based on later, but I did manage to color it in Paint. You may want to search for "Tyrannosaurus" under the setting "New," if you want to see it.
BTW, have you heard of the new Chinese dinosaur, Gigantoraptor?

When I originally said that, I was referring to the style & how it reminded me of "the earliest concept art for the raptors for the first Jurassic Park movie" (See Green Mamba's comment: [link] ). Just making sure you knew.
