Thanks, and I agree with the hands. The details are so important to maintaining the illusion. I made orc gloves for my gear because makeup is difficult to keep on hands. The guy on the right can get a little lazy with details for the sake of comfort.

Gloves sound like a good idea. For a costume I painted my hands black with acrylic color as it doesn't wash or sweat off, but it's a hell of an effort to rub it off again.

Nice! I like the big jawbone-club you're carrying, that's a nice touch.
It's also nice to see that some of the others have elevated their game a bit (probably your influence, I'm guessing) to add more wear-and-tear, etc. That said, as usual the details, the roughened and worn look you have still makes you stand out in this crowd. I love the way you make sure everything fits as a total, and that your character really looks like he's been out there fighting, marching, and living in the real world.

LOL, I love that jawbone. I added a few more bits here and there. I'm glad you noticed the others are stepping up some. I have really been trying to motivate them. I built a group page on face book for us and have posted some really good Orc larpers to inspire them. They are getting better with the costuming but a little lazy with the makeup. I try to tell them to cover their necks with cloth or chainmail because makeup will usually rub off and kill the look. The details matter so much. I know you realize this.
