Description
Our ork tribe, the shuguks, at conquest of mythodea 2014.The four costumes in the center were made by me. I'm the second character on the left.
We had a lot of fun there, as much on the battlefield fightingΒ as in the tavern drinking and singing orks' songs.

I have/had an Orc, too. Over the years he became a Half-Goblin and soon he will not look like an Orc anymore. Damn magic.

Sadly naw, aside from the games being smaller, theres less focus on world createing and less group cohesion/effort to create such intricate group concepts like your photo here. The standard here is just so much lower on the whole, and to get anything even similar to what you have in europe, our nearest option is up in Montreal.

That's too bad cuz i see a lot of amazing costumes from American artists here on da.but it is true most of them do cosplay or conventions. I saw a couple of pics from bicolline, looks like a good larp.

Oh yah theres a few bright spots, lots of us are definitely tryin! but its not as consistant across the board.
Yeah Bicolline is pretty sweet, but thats up in Canada, in Montreal- so pretty much its french..."french". We have nothing on that kind of grand scale and depth and over-all high quality in the US. Bicolline is our closest thing to the kind of great stuff you guys have going in Germany and switzerland and france and other regions. But heres hopeing for progress, we're already seeing it a bit in recent years, happily : )
