Nice shot of my Rumplestiltskin cosplay from Once upon a time at the Carolina Reannaissance festival by Ron Tencati photography. The vest and mantle are handmade from alligator embossed cowhide. I Β even made the contract and Quill. I had a great time with this character and had lots of takers on the contract. I'm even in negotiations with the king and queen!Related content

Wow, you did such a phenomenal job on this cosplay. I started really getting into the show recently and gotta say Rumple is my absolute favourite, and you definitely brought him out in full glory with such an attention to detail.

As usual, your attention to detail, both in the costuming, makeup, and your own bearing and expression really sells the character.
Is the quill using a calligraphy nib, and does it have an internal ink supply or do you need to dip it in ink? I'm curious about how you made that one because I'm making pens out of feathers myself and am interested in how other people are doing it.

Thanks DrO. The quill is simply a calligraphy pen attached to the ostrich feather with white floral tape to match. It does function but has to be dipped in an ink well. The tape was still sticky so I coated it with elmers glue to seal it and so Β dirt wouldn't stick to it so bad.
