I always try something new to make every comic different. Different pen sizes/tips, drawing style, inking methods... I try to evolve my art somehow in every piece, and I just wanted to know if it's noticeable.

"Why do you think it's a big deal? What makes you ask this of us?" (some of you may be thinking)

I hate to sound rude, and I'm not dropping names, but it seems many of my peers have gone on, comic after comic, with the exact same format and style every single time. Frankly, I feel like I'm reading the same comic over and over, just with a different joke. I don't want that to be me. I don't want each of my drawings/comics to look identical to the last.

Of course, if you're a fellow comicker reading this... I'm not talking about you. HOWEVER, if you feel upset with me like I've insulted you somehow, then yes I'm talking about you.
If it's the latter, you know what to do. Take the criticism and apply it to your next work. You might feel refreshed and invigorated with the result, and I hope it takes your style of art in a new direction.

All that said, I absolutely DO NOT think I know better than anyone as an artist, or that I'm better than anyone in general, but it's still a little thing that makes a tremendous difference in line art, and that's something I like to stay on top of. Y'all should too!

Let me know what you think about all this in the comments section. Don't be shy to openly discuss, and remember, if anyone has anything to say to me, I do read every single comment.
