Interesting concept and view points, but I do have a problem with how you format your comics into being too dialogue heavy, and you should be distributing the artwork with the voice balloons. A problem I have as well, but in the opposite direction. It is a visual medium after all.

I appreciate the advice, though it means taking longer to tell a story. I suppose it's all in how I want to get the material conveyed. In the case of this comic, it was a 2 page challenge and the word bubbles had to be drawn by hand and that meant I couldn't be precise putting them inside panels.
It is a visual medium but when I do it I suppose I try focusing on the dialogue a bit more. There's always room for improvement. -My way of doing it is story, art, then anything else.

I guess that's true. I tend to lean more to salient narratives to get the point across, but hey, that's just me. That's why so many of my comics are silent. Art, then dialogue for me.

Interesting concept! And of course Bass is the pessimistic cynic.

TBH, with my real world Bass I had the idea that he took from film characters and connected with them more than his real family.
