yes, its Chrysanthe (old reddy)
Last friday I was cleaning my desk and found a sculpture of her. and as I took it into my hand I had a little nostalgia kick again. I just wanted to draw her.
For those who are new, this was the first version of my character Red, before I downgraded her to this:

I wonder if making characters with flashy colors is just a young thing to do. I remember having bright blue wolf characters and then progressing down to more natural tones as I too aged as a person and as an artist.

i think it has to do with our taste or interrest. some people still like bright coloured characters at my age. I was also tired of people comparing my red with the final fantasy creature (Red13/ Nanaki13?) and yeah. in the end I really wanted my story to be more believable and hit and older audience with serious designs.

Yeah I remember first watching you back in 2008 and thinking that as soon as I saw old reddy, of course I would never be so offensive as to be the millionth person to say that lol
You've got a point, but I think more experienced artists who like those bright colours in their characters learn how to balance it so it doesn't make the eyes bleed, like *falvie 's fursona

Are Red/Chrysanthe and Night still a couple, or did you drop that idea along the way and I never found out? =w=;; Just curious!

Night and Red ( aka the natural lioness she is today) are a couple. Chrysanthe is a loner for now, and will probably get a different storyline and personality

I grew older and so did my interrest change. I no longer like busy bright coloured designs. But this character still means a lot to me as well the current Red.
