Chinika only had three cubs in her life, all in one litter. Just as well, since she could barely take care of herself due to her blindness, let alone three cubs.

In order, from oldest to youngest, are:

Mohatu - The first born of Chinika's and Thimba's cubs, Mohatu was born first out of the triplets, and thus was named Crowned Prince in place of his brother, Jafari, who was born mere minutes after him. Unlike his father, Mohatu is a kind-hearted lion with a strong sense of morality and justice. He takes over the kingdom after Thimba is killed by a raging rhino, and takes a rogue lioness named Ghalyela as his queen, siring three cubs upon her. Mohatu dies shortly into his daughter, Uru's, reign by slipping into the Great Gorge one winter's eve, only days after the birth of his first grandson, Mufasa. Pride Land lore states that his star is the brightest in the night sky, due to his great and selfless deeds during the First Great Drought.

Jafari - The second born of Chinika's and Thimba's triplets, Jafari is a selfish and cruel lion by nature, unlike his brother, Mohatu. Another thing that makes Jafari so nasty towards others (especially his brother) is that he was passed over in favor of his brother for the title of Crowned Prince, due to the fact that he was born just mere minutes after him. This infuriates Jafari to no end, and he dedicates his life to making his brother's life a living hell because of it. During the First Great Drought, Jafari tries to hog all the remaining water for himself, and is thus renamed "Selfish" by many of the Pridelanders. Mohatu exiles his brother to the Out Lands for this selfish deed. Jafari lives out the rest of his days stewing in jealousy and hatred for his brother, ironically dying of thirst when yet another drought hits the lands during his niece's, Uru's, reign.

Zanta - The third born of Chinika's and Thimba's triplets, Zanta is the only girl of the trio. A rough-and-tumble tom-boy, it comes to no surprise when, some years later into her young adulthood, Zanta comes out as a lesbian. Reactions are varied, and while Mohatu and Chinika ultimately support her, Jafari and Thimba choose to no longer have anything to do with her. Zanta isn't miffed by her brother's and father's reactions, though; she suspected they'd react as much, and honestly, she couldn't care less if they never speak to her again, since she really doesn't like them anyways. She eventually finds herself a mate in the beautiful head huntress Alama, and together they take care of and raise many of the orphaned cubs in the pride. Zanta dies half way through Uru's reign shortly after Alama is killed on hunt gone wrong, dying of a broken heart.
