Description
Hanako ("flower" in Japanese) is an old, black-furred she-wolf with white toes and ear-tips, a white chin, a white spot on her chest, and blind golden eyes, a brownish pink nose, and gray starting to run though her fur.

Old and blind, one would think Hanako would be completely helpless out in the wilderness. And that one would be completely and utterly wrong. Having lost her eye-sight at a young age due to bad genetics, Hanako has had plenty of time to get used to life without sight. Thus she can fight and navigate just as well as any normal wolf with sight - perhaps even better, some might say.

She's very in tune with nature, and even the slightest shift in the wind or the smallest rustle of the grass will catch her attention. And age hasn't slowed her down. Many young wolves find themselves flat on their asses trying to attack Hanako, whether it be in play or in aggression, and she rarely has to do any more than knock them around a few times; most wolves leave her alone after that, too embarrassed that they got their asses kicked by an old, blind she-wolf.

Once again they learn that just because Hanako's old and blind, it doesn't mean she's inept.
