I first thought of this about 1.5 weeks ago-- I'm surprised I hadn't come up with something like this sooner-- and the final result is now on your screen. For those that might not get it, read on...First off, the person on the far right is 9-Volt from the WarioWare series. The joke here is that he's such a huge Nintendo fanboy, he actually APPROVES of the new name! Because hey, he probably supported the Virtual Boy too, so he might as well support this initially unpopular renaming...
The person on the right is supposed to resemble me, and the reaction coming out of my character is genuine, as well. When I first heard of the name change, I thought it was a joke! Of course, I had valid reasons of believing that since I first found out through the title of one of =FattyD 's deviations called "Nintendo Wii", and I thought it had a typo in it! (I mistakenly thought it was supposed to read "Nintendo Wi-Fi" and the "F" was left out) Later, I went to Gamespot, and it turns out that yes, the console is actually called Wii! I was put off at first, but the name has since the grown on me, and I now approve of it (of course, I still think "Revolution" sounds cooler, but what can you do?).
The blonde boy in the middle is Jason Fox from the "FoxTrot" comic strips. I decided to put him here after reading a recent strip with him deriding the name and calling it "Why" (original, I know...). As for the nerd... well, he's not based on anybody, really; just a random doodle I put out. For those who don't understand what he's saying, let me put it this way: he's SO geeky, that he's actually spelling out "WTF?" rather than just saying "What the F---?" like anyone else would!
I think that does it for the artist's notes. Now for the boring statistics and copyrights...

In this case, the code name was a lot better. Now all these retarded Sony fanboys are always going "OMG NINTENDO 'WEE'!!! LOLOLOLOL!!! NINTENDO IS GAY!!!1!" I sort of dislike Sony and Microsoft for this reason. Mainly because of their non-Nintendo-respecting fans, though. I still like the stuff they make.

And then, of course, there were those who made inappropriate jokes every time they heard it. (Hard to blame them actually. It’s rare when opportunities just drop into your lap like that). And then of course my sister, who said “Weeeeee!” every time, which is really annoying.
