The icy Blue Topaz is one of the best known birthstones for the month of December. Its vivid sparkling blue always makes me think of ice and cold rain, so the Blue Topaz Fairy takes the shape of a frosty cool Ice Princess, dressed in an improbable gown of ice crystals and raindrops.My hand cramped up at least three times doing all the crystals and droplets on that skirt!

She is lovely. I like the edges of the wings, and the flowly sleeves of the gown, not to mention the beautiful effect the crystals and drops give to the skirt. The very pale hair color, combined with the shades of blues and the shapes you used, really does give her an ice princess feel.
