Description because I can. had the pieces, and couldn't resist. and I am Irish! lol. the tale of Amergin has always fascinated me.

standard decades, silver celtic/art nouveau Y and celtic knot final. beads are emerald czech faceted fire-glazed glass, with crystal faceted dividers.

really?!?!? He was a son of Milesius . . the first of the Celts to settle in Ireland. there are epic tales of the battles between them and the Tuatha de Dannan for the rights to live there. He was the bard of the clan, and wrote a fabulous song about it all. it's called Song of Amergin. go figure, eh? still, its a great read. goes into a lot of Irish Celtic mythology, and each section is named for a month in the Celtic calendar (all names for sacred trees as well). It has a place of honor in my BOS. ^_^

Hmm.. I totally don't remember that name.. I guess I've only read stuff about the Tuatha de Dannan and the old gods/goddesses.. who knew? lol

yeah, there is a fantastic book about him by Morgan Llewellyn called Bard. great book! I've nearly worn my copy out to ribbons.

there are about 5 versions out there . . the long version, the short version, the short-short version . . and then 2 variations of the last one.
