Well, that's a little bit confusing, but what he does after her question seems at the beginning of the fic confusing, but will be explained as the story develops. But I try in MY english words ^^
When she asked him, he started to "show" her, that she still depends on him...loves him, by kissing her and demanding much more from her. But she realizes his plan, SHE is the one who hit him. After that she leaves. Maybe, my following pictures will explain the story.
