I have this headcanon that involves little Connor Kenway bringing home animals to Ziio from time to time, and begging her to let him keep it.

It would probably go like:
Connor came running home, clutching a wolf pup in his arms. He excitedly ran up to his mother who was busy doing some work. ” *Ista! Ista! Look what I found!”. Ziio put her hands on her hips. “Oh for heaven’s sake, Connor. Last week it was a squirrel and now this? This is too much!”. ”But pleeeeaassee!”, Connor begged. ” Please Ista! Can I keep him! I promise we’ll both be good! Pleeeeeaaasssee!”, he begged. His brown eyes were wide and glittering. Ziio tried her best to hold her ground and stare him down, but she just couldn’t resist those big brown eyes. ” Oh can those eyes get any bigger!”, she said, chuckling and ruffling Connor’s hair. ” Fine, you may keep him, but you must set him free when the time is right. Everything deserves freedom, my child.”
