MA don´t deserv such an attention...you know. I don´t like her and more than that. Not for the Anime (thats a great fairytale) more for the real gistory and wgat she did to Louis, the folk and her kids... She wasn´t these swwwwweeeeet angel and good mother almost everyone is thinking of her...-.-

I know she wasn't smart and good..but i like her in the show. Because it should the reasons why she became so bad...she was forced into it...she was 14 years old and lived in opulence since she was born. so i understand why she became so. BUt yeah ahaha..it will be my next drawing. I finished the pencil shading one..i'll put it up now.

Well the series was one of the reasons why i start to read about her. And i´m sry to say, i hate her in LO too.-.- There, in the manga more than in the anime, she is an angel with a tragic love she never was,... a carefull mother she also never was and and and...-.-
And sry too to live in opulence isn´t a reason for the things she did to others!

Of course living in such cercumstances and having so much power will turn you into an unthinking monster..and if you grow up with such mentality you can definitely blame opulence and riches for it. Her being a queen was enough to fuck with her head. As bad ass as she was she was a human..and deserved a fair trial like anyone else. Other people have done worse and they are still alive!!..Like George Bush.

Umm...well no not really...o.0 Louis eg. wasn´t such a monster. His grandma (queen before MA) wasn´t too. Etc... But yes for her to be the queen...well as you said fucks her head. :S Well and no...in my eyes she wasn´t a human...at least without a heart...otherwise she wouldn´t have try to kill her last baby...-,- And well that trail has nothing to to with all the things wgy i don´t like her. THta's your opinion. I'm not going to judge a person who i've never met and never will. Its been 300 years since and as many books and history they write about her they will never know who she really was or whether there was someone who was making her do these things. I'm not defending her and i don't hate Louis. But all i know is that being born to a life like this can have quite the major consequences. Especially when you turn a 14 year old who is still quite impressionable into a princess and then a queen at 18 it will really screw her perspective of the world quite early. I am sure if she stayed back home iwth her mother she might have been different. She was human whether you like it or not, and ignoring the reason why she became what she became is not the best way to know a character like hers. They played it pretty well in the show, whether it was true or not. The idea that having Oscar see her up close showed her good and bad side, because not everyone is completely evil and I don't believe she was evil, i just believe that she wasn't prepared for such a job and usually she had no say in the politics of the country so if anything the king and his council really fucked it up. Can't always blame her. The king was weak and I'm sure the council and the nobles had tampered in his ruling. BUt yet again...who knows. We can even hardly know the people around us clearly for us to be able to know the ones that lived many years ago.

Louis WAS NOT weak! And the council and the nobles doesn´t!!!! had tampered in his ruling!!! OMG what have you learnd?? o.0 And as said you can learn to know a lot of the huys back in thee through letters etc... And sry for me i will never get any understandig for such a person like MA was... A person wich tried to kill her baby as said. Wich fight all the time against her own family/husband, hurts him and took no care for her children! A person wich was all the time in a lovely family-atmosphere, no matter if she was 14. Cause back in days it was normal to marry so early. Her sisters did it too. And MA was never wanted to becomes something big...
And LadyOscar/Anime/Manga based on the novel of Stefan Zweig...everyone wich knows a lil bit of french histroy will tell you that these book ist just a fairytale.

Oy...You are not really getting what i am saying. I'm not saying that i am right...i'm not saying she is a good person. I also know that Lady Oscar is a fictional take of the french revolution. I studied this subject a dizzillion times. Trust me. Now don't get too heated up. That's just my opinion. I understand you don't like her. But i like to see things from both sides. We are all allowed to wonder about what really happened. Just like the person who created the show. That person must have been quite curious about what really happened inside the walls of Versailles. Now lets not go too far..I see you are misinterpreting my sentences and getting quite upset. I don't want us to become enemies on a virtual level

They're my fav! I love the way you made Oscar's hair here. The symbolism of the roses still confusese me tho! (Is Oscar's rose just white or first white then red?) But great pic!

To the end of the Anime, Bernard and Rosalie asked Alain wich color they should take for the paper-rose Marie Antoinette(i hate her btw) had made for Oscar in prison. And he said, when he would thinking of André the the rose should be red, but for Oscar white.
