I should also mention I'm the comedy relief of the team. Keeping the spirits up is just as important as keeping the health up. ^^
So what kind of duties does a GM have exactly?

On our server, GMs can hold events, take care of tickets, and test bugs that may need fixing. GMs also handle a small amount of donations by posting in the GM section of the forums about the donations. (Our server has a system for donations that goes like this: If you donate money for the server, you get a reward such as gold, levels, or items!)

Nope, Admins do other things: They have their own section of the forums- they ban skills, spells, talents, etc that are bugged, they take care of EVERYTHING about the donations, they recruit new members to the GM/BM team, and they can restart and shut down the servers.
BMs are battlemasters: Those are GMs that exclusively hold events and have limited commands in-game.
GMs have what we call the A command in-game; its everything except shutting down the server.

Its pretty easy once one gets into the rhythm of it. Its a very fun and rewarding job! (We don't get paid, and that's for the better; our server is a non-profit server. People donate to keep the server running.)

Heehee. Sounds fun. You must meet a lot of interesting people like that. I've got nowhere near that much responsibility, but I run an unofficial guild with my friends. (Unofficial obviously meaning we aren't even registered as a guild and it is friends only. XD) There's about five of us all together, but we're pretty much inseparable. ^^
