I can't argue anything I see here, and its hard not to favor. The image flows very well from the person to the bull, very clear what is going on, and quite an interesting take on it as well. Art is meant to see the world from a new set of eyes and that is exactly what this does. the style is still far from anything ive seen from anyone else. I enjoy the endless flow; how the bull, cape (if thats the proper term), and person all flow together with just mere shading to separate them, sending your eye through the image over and over with the precise pen strokes that draw you in to begin with. The background manages to stay out of the way, being the least complex of the image. It helps to balance the scene in the front, and give it a bit of environment. if it was intentional or not I am not sure however the rounded background gives me an arena feeling. although there isn't much left to critique I can only find one thing that throws me off. The shadow of the bull was a good touch to bring the base together with the cape, however on the front foot it comes off the page, being the only part of the scene minus the background that naturally does so, which is to cut off the page. that draws my eye away from whats going on a bit.

musical motion of silly puddy pressed deep into the news print of the Sunday paper and looped and stretched as a heavy drum and bass line hits it grows legs and begins to dance a plopping puddle sort of dance limbs entangle and interdigitate interloping interlopers into each other as the mass transforms into this:what you see before you I think it definitively has a sculpture feeling to it even wood can be imagined but it could be magnetic or vibration that which can't be explained by science or physics is meant to be seen and this is convincing me.

I love the shading you have done on this. It's beautiful. Something you might consider, it seems like the bull's shadow should go further or the cloak (or whatever they use) should have a shadow on the floor? The bull has half a shadow, but then the shadowing stops. Even as it is it's beatiful. You don't really need to change it.

Hi Roxanne and thks for your nice comment...I know what you mean but sometime ( indeed...often) I like to play with the shadows that come in and out from the real objects ...it is part of the game;it helps to create a bit of confusion and curiosity in the audience!Β see you

What pens do you use? My son is an artist too and didn't like the pens I got him from Michael's so I'm looking for a better brand.
