Well she and Lexington would have been the finest battlecruisers in the US Navy.

Sorry for only asking now but Β are Saratoga's arms restrained to her sides?

I guess I tried to rush with this one so the pose turned out a bit stiff. The fishnets on her arms are just supposed to act as arm covers of sorts (representing cage masts)

I wasn't referring to the fishnets on her arms. I referring to the metal brace that goes around her torso and arms under her breasts.

On second look I guess I didn't add enough contrast on that portion, but it is actually two parts. She has a band around her arm (Not really connected to anything just more for battleship look) and a separate brace around her body to support the equipment.Β

That's true but that would have caused war between the Royal Navy and the US Navy and seeing how the US was the economic giant it was growing to be, it is not hard to see the US becoming the victors in the said war.Β

Well yeah, but America isn't the best so to speak. They always have to start somewhere.

Ah... Yes, France. Hate to say it, but France was more of a liability to both sides than an asset.

I will say strong military, but weak leaders. Either way, they do have a lot of interesting weapons and vehicles that fall underneath most people's radar.

Okay true on that, I admit, because in the final cutscenes in the good Waterloo ending of Napoleon total war, the narrator said this, "Glory like that, can only survive once."
Though I question one thing from the French Navy, even if some of them were ground (or sea XD) breaking for their time. Which is the Dunkurqe-class, not that I'm saying she was a bad design, it was a good design. However I do question the placement of all of the secondary guns.
