Contribution to the collaboration project by Hexidextrous about cute maid characters. (As of posting this image there are still opening in the project if anyone is still interested in joining)I wanted to try drawing a maid character again, and I must say I do like the design of Touhou characters (those frills though!). Based off the references, Sakuya is generally pictured with her knives so though I made her look cuter than most depictions, you still have to think whether or not you want to eat that cake of hers!

I guess I have not looked into Touhou enough to have a specific favorite character, but I do like the complicated flowing outfits a lot of them have. Makes for a nice change from your typical Serafuku

Bad news man. I am cancelling the collab. Except for you, no one else participated, for like a year.
I appreciate your contribution though, but sadly I was unable to get it done. I feel so bad that I couldn't organize a proper collab.

Yeah I saw. No need to beat yourself up about it though, in general its hard to get people to come together for group projects on a whim, I don't think any of that falls on to you.
Either way it, the drawing was still fun to work on, and again I hope you don't you don't take the ending of the collab as a personal failing on your part, sometimes these things work, sometimes they don't.
