HAPPY ISSUE 500 of the NEOPIAN TIMES!
What better way to celebrate than with a
Team Squad Force: Movie Night!
The quality on the Neopian Times version is much worse than the one submitted here. xD The jpeg compression of the former makes it so you can hardly make out what's going on in the background. All those chairs upon chairs...
And I really enjoyed drawing the panel where Mad, Emsohl and Tombstones spectacularly walk in while holding popcorn and things. That and the next panel, and the three little panels where Joey beats up the Cinephile, are my favourite panels to look at in this comic.
I just really want to thank Komori, Fish and Abra for letting me in on their collab this year for issue 500. It was insanely fun, and I just loved working with them all. Even though I had some RL work to do at the same time, it still all came together well in the end and I'm really happy they let me do this. You guys rock, you know. TEAM SQUAD FORCE GO!

The villain is a white gelert. And the movie I just made up, I don't even think there are even any old sci-fi movies that are so cheesy they show a hand pushing a toy spaceship along...

Yes, but Team Squad Force has an amazing shared ability of being impervious to bad scripting, bad acting and bad cinematography. And thus they will be completely immune to the usual brain-draining and anger-inducing effects of watching a movie that bad. xD

LOL. Every single one of you. "The quality in the NT was horrible so here's the better version." Seeing that in all the Artist's Comments (yours, Fish's, Komori's, even Buizel's comic this week lol)... makes me laugh harder than the punchline does

Happens every time we make our comics too long and colourful... every time we do a lot of good drawing, then. xD
It makes me wonder why we keep doing this anyway. I mean... about halfway through this comic I worked out that the dot pattern I was using for the shading would come out looking kinda not very good in the JPEG compressed version. But then I shrugged and kept using it because I thought it looked pretty anyway on my screen. When I finished, I compressed it for the NT and as expected the dot shading looks weirdly net-like, not the effect I intended. But I put it in there anyway. Why?? So only the uncompressed version looks good? x'D
