This portrait is inspired by the "missed me" scene in the movie that seems to emphasize the comical bravado of the character.

I just loved the idea of meeting with Barnabas for a live...or..err...undead sitting for a portrait, and trying to keep a straight face while he posed so full of himself and puffed up like a partridge.

This is my first submission to Deviant Art and I plan to upload some of my past and future works and some painting and sculpting tutorials and work-in progress as soon as possible!
