This is an unfinished work.Probably some years after I would do another version of this.
I wanted to do a humouristic version of this super heros, where wolverine is a extreme bulky guy but innocent and Gambit is a sneaky guy.
Concept idea:
Wolverine and Gambit are playing cards on a fast food restaurant, no one is around. Gambit always win, but for the first time of many years without losing, he knows by looking at Wolverine's facec he is about to lose.
Before Wolverine strike the last cards on the table, Gambit wants to explode the whole place, because he really hates losing specially to Wolverine.
The Original characters belongs to Marvel.

Yes, it was intentional to be in that way, because I wanted to portrait wolverine like a huge bulky guy but that transmits something childish about him. To give more focus on the Gambit that is " about to lose", I simply thought about what would be to lose to a big guy that seems doesnt know how to play cards so well, that is why I did physically wolverine like that almost like a caricature, to give more importance to the scene and the action in it.

Yeah I really love these concept, I made it last year, but then I started to do other works and I didnt touch it only these year. But still I'm not happy with some stuff around these, so I will leave it for and comeback when I think I am ready

Never say that. Everyone is capable of everything. You just need to pratice a lot and fill your flaws.
You don't know how many times I feel insecure about painting, but when the doubts and fears are bigger than what you are trying to do, just stop and don't draw or paint, try to relax and then do it again.
Never doubt yourself and pratice and pratice, because only working you can get there.

I like the lighting, everything you did about the restaurant background really. The coke and fries on the wall, the paint on the glass all of it. Really nice work.

Yeah I think it too, but I really don't want to fix this work, probably later I will do a remake.
Many things to correct and textures to apply to make it more real .
