This is another of the shots from a trip to Swinging Bridge in the summer of 2012. Swinging Bridge is a gorge in south Vermont that runs past the Appalachian Trail. *Maresy , *reddogdied , Colin , and I went up to VT together that year and spent an afternoon romping around in the river.

This is the corniest title I could come up with, but something about Blais's pose with the scarf on her head reminds me of old gilt paintings of the Madonna.
