Why would the western Allies let the USSR occupy Denmark?

It is a rather good question and I haven't got the answer to it myself. I guess a communist Denmark would require the rest of Scandinavia to be communist as well. Maybe it has something to do with the reds winning the Finnish civil war. If we assume that Stalin had been less paranoid and hadn't purged so many talented and experienced people from the Red Army it is possible the USSR would have made more progress in WWII leading to them being able to claim more of Europe as theirs on the Yalta conference. I guess something along the lines of Stalin getting Austria, Norway, Schleswig-Holstein and Denmark.
With Finland being communist and both Norway and Denmark being awarded to Stalin it is not impossible to imagine the USSR orchestrating a communist coup in Sweden, leading to an all-communist Scandinavia.
