If Metalocalypse is Death Metal's utopia, then Brutal Legend is it's heaven. This world is made of everything metal, blacker than the blackest black times infinity. Eddie Riggs has an amazing personality and lots of heart, as do most if not all of the characters of this game. They got many great voice actors and rock n roll legends to take part in this underrated beauty, like Ozzy Ozbourne, Lemmy Killmister of Motörhead and Rob Halford of Judas Priest among many others. While it hasn't aged the best compared to most strategy games like Age of Empires II or Battle Realms, it's open world exploration and hack n slash gameplay makes this one a lot of fun. You'll spend hours just driving around running over spiked porcupines and taking down Lionwhyte's soldiers. Manning the headbangers for the strategy gameplay takes some getting used to, as does lacking a jump button, but it's astetics more than make up for its flaws. I also have to give the game props for using live action footage with Jack Black for the game's opening to lead you into its world.
