Description This is quick scene I did in blender today. I already had the ocean simulation from a previous project I did earlier.

Rendered in yafaray. (My first render with it)

Sky Texture from CG Cookie's sky texture pack. everything else is from scratch(if you call simulation from scratch).

The ocean water material looks pretty convincing! Much better than the ones that I've tried out. Did you use Environment lighting or anything like that for this render?

Thanks! All I used was a cylinder with the background image on it, with the material set to emit light. So in a way yes.

Looks super cool, though methinks needs a focal point. What's the diff between simulation and scratch? I mean, you obviously didn't model all those waves by hand you used some kind of trick, right?

Thanks! it does need a focal point,I don't really have anything to put there though. haha! yeah I did not model all of the waves, I used blender's built in ocean simulator which does all of the modeling instantly for you.
