Description
I used a tutorial for some thinks I did not know how to do. but most of it I learned myself. I am happy with how it turned out. and i'd love critique.See the animation here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-CIz2…
Made using Blender 2.6 with post processing in Photoshop.

The mesh being used for snow is a bit off, you might want to check the normals or to see if there is some interference between vertices/lines/faces etc.

Thanks! I think It needs more subdivisions is all. If I ever do a re render, I plan on fixing it.

I would suggest that you add some more geometry to mountains, so that they will look more smooth

I did notice the geometry problem. I plan on fixing it if I do another render. and you are right about the sky, as I said below I may add some clouds and things later.

I used a landscape generator to make the shape of the mountains. all the rest from scratch. (other than the textures of course)

The trees are public domain. And the mountain texture I am not certain.

Yeah, I have not done any post processing yet, the way I made this does not allow me to add a background image in the 3D program. but I plan on adding some clouds later
