Marla Baek is a 16 year old orphan with no place to go until one day, in answer to her prayers, Yahuwah (the LORD) sends her to work for the Hui family in the village Hye-Byun: a thriving town by the sea and mountains where many of her old friends have already settled in.
With her worries pushed back for the time being, Marla looks forward to her new life as well as a chance to reunite with her old companions. However as danger begins to hurdle its way through the town, will Marla be able to continue to stand firm on the Rock of Yahuwah, or will she allow herself to get swept away by the relentless tides of darkness?
