Description Me and my good friend doing a Navy SEAL impression. We are sniping targets at 800m.

And if you're wondering why I"m not wearing a helmet. It's really hard to snip with a helmet on and with my targets well pass 800m, I doubt I'll be harassed that much.

You snipe both eyes open?

Unless the target is past 400m I don't really have a problem keeping both eyes open.

I sometimes strain my closed eye too much by keeping it close all the time as well when I go for longer range shots. And just because my eyes are open in this pic doesn't mean I won't be closing the other in a bit or so.

Yeah, i was just wondering. I always snipe other eye closed, i sometimes then relax it. Eyeglasses pretty much mess up the vision when having both eyes open for a scope stronger than 3x.

Nice. Airsoft or a real M14? I haven't seen that kind of adjustable cheek rest on an M14 before, except on an EBR.

That's the Springfield M21. It has an adjustable cheek piece. It was heavily used in the Vietnam war, it's basically a match grade m14 tweaked further than transformed into a sniper rifle with the full auto disabled.

And yeah it's an Airsoft rifle. hehehe... Next set of pics we'll be using real steel weapons though.
