Yes, like.... I already talked with a buf of mine and we might actually each buy a version.
Pokémon moon was the last game I played and it already felt partially like the essence of Pokémon was lost. I think this feeling, for me,. started around Black and White, tho for black and white I loved the story so much and even the Story of X and Y managed to amaze me, because it was unusually deep. However I did not really like many Pokémon designs and, while the Mega evolutions are certainly cool and amazingly animated, it kinda felt like Pokémon trying to be Digimon, you know? Also the story of Moon and Sun didn't quiet catch my interst tbh and that combined with the lack of cool new Pokémon made me not even consider buying Moon/Sun2.
This however... This smol bean might be the sole reason for me to buy a Pokémon game again and dust off my 3DS. *0*

ahh yeah i can definitely relate, the last few pokemon games where cool but didn't really feel like the classics too me.
Seeing as they are doing gym's again is definitely a plus, I'm not too sure yet how i feel about the giant pokemon thing
but the game absolutely looks promising, The 'wild lands' also look really neat with the free-roaming pokemon ala Let's go style-
But if the game for some reason ends up flopping we at least have Wooloo to keep us warm haha
