Description Photos by my older brother, Rowan.

I just thought I'd get a few quick pictures of this before it gets forgotten in my closet, so I stuck on my elf ears (didn't even use glue), threw on a couple of belts that I've used for Faire in the past and darted out in the yard in the boiling heat.

I'm remaking the tunic in different colours (for the colour test, go here: [link] ).
Why am I remaking it? Mainly because NOTHING matches the colours of this tunic >.< (grey with light blue and burgundy trim). Also because this tunic is kinda rough blah blah blah, you get the picture. No clue what I'm going to do with this tunic now though...

Made and modeled by me

Sorry, this item has already sold.

This lands perfectly in between baggy and form-fitting. A lot of tunics of this type are basically formelss and huge, and you managed to scale that down perfectly to something that follows your shape but still preserving that loose look. Great job.

Mm...a slightly stretchy poly-blend I think.

Heehee, I dunno, I like it better cropped off XD I can't do that for the Tudor photos that'll be coming soooon though (photoshoot is on Thursday^^).

The best part is-- these tunics are super easy to make! I'm already halfway done with my remake tunic. Yay^_^

I'm surprised you said the material is rough because in the picture it doesn't look like that. XD

It's a really nice design. Kinda reminds me of people cosplaying.

Btw, your skin looks so milky white smooth~ *-*

Haha XD Well, I'm working on the remake now and it's coming along really nicely so I hope to get some good pictures of it up in the mountains this fall.

Also, this is for sale if you want it.

Thanks, I work hard on keeping my skin clear ^_^; I also burn reaaally easily so I have to load up on sunscreen in the summer

I probably would never be able to fit in it!! Didn't you say you were a size 2? Goodness girl. XD

Oh gawd, sunburn? I haven't really gotten sunburn before and I'm always out in the sun. I have a fair tan. I hardly ever put on sunblock.

I'm like a size 4 (although it's confusing because I take a different size at every store >.<. This will probably fit up to a size 6 though (it's a little big on me and it's kinda stretchy).

Never gotten a sunburn? o_o In the picture is as tan as I get XD In the winter I look like a ghost.

I'd do it, but it looks a mite too small for me.

That's the problem I often run into trying to sell my old costumes, etc ^_^; This will fit a US dress size 4 or a little bigger, maybe a 6. The grey fabric is kinda stretchy, but like you said, it might be a bit small. But anyway, if you're still interested or know someone that is, I'd be more than happy to sell it

Thats so awesome! Did you get those boots at the Faire? Or can you get those type of shoes elsewhere. Cause I been wanting some.

Reine-Haru In reply to Chik-nPox [2008-08-07 13:54:08 +0000 UTC]

Thanks Haha, I think I actually got those boots at Charlotte Russe last year or the year before XD I've seen them this year though, at various clothing stores etc., so you shouldn't have too much trouble finding some. They're not too expensive either.

Chik-nPox In reply to Reine-Haru [2008-08-07 23:44:02 +0000 UTC]

Really?! Wow I must not go out much anymore cause I never see them. hahaha thanks and I would love a corset. And hopefully when I have enough money saved I will be able to buy a new sewing machine. Cause the one I have now is umm. o_O well.. I can't really work it. heh How much would I owe you for the corset?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Reine-Haru In reply to Chik-nPox [2008-08-08 02:08:20 +0000 UTC]

Hm, well, do you remember the red and gold fabrics I used in my Tudor (Elizabeth I) gown? I have PLENTY of those left over if you'd like a corset out of one of those (it could even be reversible for both colours if you wanted). That would save you picking out fabrics etc. Also, price would just vary depending on what style of corset you wanted, i.e. how much time it'd take. If you want to send me a sketch of what you have in mind, that'd be wonderful, then I can give you a better price estimate ^_^

Also, if you and some other people want to go shopping sometime (which sounds like fun), I can show you where to get boots like that.
