Description
When I don't know what to draw, I always end up drawing knights on horseback. I wonder why? This started out being a doodle of an armored carousel horse (fun fact: I loooove carousel horses), but then, with it being exam time and all, I had too much fun doodling away at this.I have fun experimenting with different styles. I felt very classic illustration (Cruikshank, Sendak, Pyle, Crane) doing this.

Pen and ink on watercolor paper (not the best paper for the medium, I know).

I like this very much and in regards to pen and ink on watercolor paper, I prefer using inkwash on watercolor paper

This is absolutely gorgeous. The lines flow together so well, but it's still easy to distinguish each one individually. The details are incredible. It's lovely.
