Ariel is far from my favorite, but I actually DO really like her. She has to be pretty brave to go out into an entire new world with stinking humans! XD I mostly like her because she's just like me in a few ways.#1 She's a total pack rat. When mom started to try and get rid of my stuff, I became rather rebellious too. And pretty damn angry!
#2 Apart from dreaming of another world, she actually gets up and goes to hers. I would definitely do the same, if that other world existed anywhere but inside my mind. Too bad.
Just so everybody knows, I've never seen The second or third movies at all. Honestly I'm kindof scared that it will ruin the vision I have of Ariel so far.

Oh, how I love Disney! C:
There's just something about those old movies that really hits home and makes you want to slip into the worlds behind them. The story lines may seem repetitive as far as a princess finding her prince goes, but every new character, and every new world, always seems to find a place in my heart. Even the new movie, Tangled, had that same effect!

I really love the old Disney movies too. Mostly because every show or movie we do now we can create in just a short amount of time compared to how they did it back then. But they had to draw out everything and put in their very heart and soul into each work. They had to actually THINK about everything they made so that it would sell, or else they wouldn't have the funds to make the next. I remember being told that Sleeping Beauty nearly made Disney go bankrupt with how long it took them to make that movie. It was mostly because Disney wanted anybody to be able to pause Sleeping Beauty at any point in time and it to look like it could be a finished painting.

Thank you so much. I think I had the most fun with her hair and her HUGE eyes. XD I just wanted to do it, even though it didn't look natural. Sometimes I think I do TOO much just because it's "natural" to me.
