inspired by lyrics in the song "Holland 1945" by Neutral Milk Hotel. the song itself (although beautiful) is a bit cryptic, but it's essentially about Anne Frank and her family. there's been speculation that the lyrics "piano filled with flames" allude to the possibility that Anne might've been reincarnated as Pepito Arriola (a child prodigy pianist). i don't belive in reincarnation so much... i just kinda like the idea that we all continue on somehow and that in the end the evil in this world doesn't have the last say.

The contrast between the softness of the fire/smoke and the strong lines throughout the piece is really great.

Nicely done, my friend. The concept you have demonstrated is fascinating. I am an atheist and I do not believe in these theological theories about reincarnation, transsubstantiation, God, etc. However, our legacy is remembered and can be given to anyone close to our hearts.
