Quirk: Spores
Grosvenor can grow and produce spores and mushrooms in their body and use the spores to induce hallucinations in foes. The spores must be inhaled, or ingested for the hallucinations to begin. Depending on the amount inhaled/consumed a hallucination could range from small visual distortions like changing colors or patterns on objects to complete visual distortions and anomalies. Seeing double, seeing things that aren't there, etc.
The effect of the spores depends on Grosvenor's emotional state at the time of production/release, but they do have slight control over it. Some hallucinations can cause feelings of euphoria and relaxation while others can cause paranoia and anxiety. They don't have exact control over what appears in the hallucinations, but can control to an extent whether it will be a good or bad "trip."
Limitations:
- Spores are harder to spread in the rain. Water acts as a solid barrier preventing passage.
- A gas mask, or even a damp cloth are effective at keeping out the spores.
- Grosvenor doesn't have control over where the spores go when released. They must be careful when working with others or run the risk of giving allies terrible hallucinations.
- Air currents can really mess up their quirk and ties into the previous limitation.
- Typically they must get in close to administer the spores.
- They are immune to the effects of their spores.

Normally mellow and carefree, Grosvenor is the kind of person to go with the flow. They are typically calm, agreeable and bright. Things that bother other people tend not to bother them, and Grosvenor is one to just float on despite obvious turbulence. They are adaptable and able to handle or cope with a situation if they do decide to become engaged. They will usually attempt to get people who are stressed or uptight to relax. Overall they love to have fun, they love to party, and really enjoy being in large groups of people. But they are also very lazy. Their calm demeanor can often be a negative thing. Often they won't get involved in rough situations simply because they don't want to use the energy to do so. While certainly unassuming Grosvenor has the capacity to be incredibly vicious and vindictive. If they feel they've been insulted, threatened, or backed into a corner you can expect retaliation. Maybe not in that moment. But they're are a terrible grudge holder and will get even at some point.

History: Grosvenor's birth parents Ike and Amélie Bernier died when Grosvenor was very young. They weren't heroes. But died in a terrible villain attack on Seattle. They were wounded along with dozens of others and died before they could receive medical help. Grosvenor ended up under the care of their Godfathers John and Horatio who were incredibly close to the Bernier's. They took custody of Grosvenor and raised them in a stable and loving home.
Grosvenor doesn't remember much about their parents. They feel bitter and sad from time to time, but overall they are very happy and go-with-the-flow. Even still their deaths drove Grosvenor to become a hero. If there had been even more heroes and doctors maybe they would have survived. Grosvenor showed an interest in the medical field from an early age which came in handy once their quirk emerged.
Having a decent knowledge of the human body helped them to control their quirk and to prevent scary hallucinations from afflicting their classmates. They did well enough in school even if they were a little careless and too focused on enjoying life... Still they passed their classes and went on to participate in medical internships. Working as a nurses' assistant, and shadowing a pharmacist.
When news hit about the Asclepius Group's assault on Schuyler University Grosvenor was reinvigorated. They discovered a resurgence of their desire to help others and applied to the school as soon as they could. With their quirk and their knowledge of medicine they could prevent a lot of suffering to help people live their lives as relaxed and carefree as possible.
Extras:
Spores are typically expelled from Grosvenor's lungs or in a cloud around them from their skin. Their hero suit captures the expelled spores and siphons them into the glove on their left hand. The spores can then be fired from their fingertips in a much more controlled way.
