Crossover from Brave and Tangled, I wanted to see what merida looked like with straight hair and rapunzel with curly hair. VOILA!Characters owned by Disney and Disney Pixar. WOOP
Dunno about what you guys think, but merida looks AWESOME with straight hair.

The Lunar Chronicles is a recent book series published by Marissa Meyer. It's a fairy tale adaptation of different character but the series takes place in the future and deals with sci fi. The character Scarlet is Meyer's take on Red Riding Hood and Cress is Rapunzel. Cress is describe to have wild curly long hair and lives in a satelliteΒ instead of a tower. Cress is kinda a Hikiomori. She knows how to hack into computers. Scarlet is a redhead.
Cinder Lihn is of course Cinderella but the series also takes after Sailor Moon series and Cinder is also like Usagi/Princess Serenity in a way. Her real name is Selene but everyone thinks Selene dyed in a fire. Selene is also the princess of Luna, the moon. So yeah the series is a space opera with Sailor Moon elements and fairy tales characters. Meyer has said Cinder was inspired by actress Β Mew Azama played Sailor Jupiter in the live action version of Sailor Moon.
Β It's been three books so far and one prequel called Fairest. The conclusion to the series is called Winter which deals with a dark skin Snow White and comes out next year.
Also this is not a spoiler because it's very obvious that Cinder is Selene in the first book.

Ew, I wasn't even thinking about rats!
But now I can imagine a scene with her, with talking rats living in there, and they complain if she moves too fast. That hair is their home, and when she runs everything falls over and they have to clean up! Then she tries to visualize what could be in there if the RATS have to CLEAN UP when she disturbs their HOMES.
She tells them it's her hair, and they tell her she's being selfish and totally inconsiderate of others. There is only one Rapunzel, but there are over a thousand rats, and they have to have their whole lives all disturbed just so she can frolic about the forest. So self-absorbed!
