This is absolutely beautiful...your texturing is fantastic and the layering effect you've achieved is quite nice...great job!

Very nice! It makes me want to start getting into backrounds again. I've been doing backrounds behind people's backs for a while on and off. Mainly because suck at perspective. It's nice to see peices like these that make me want to do it again.

You have, got the trees to a T. I think the trick is getting the branches to look like they're naturally flowing out of the trunk. It's a tuff thing to master, I used to be awful at it.

you have the same approach to trees I do - you do individual leaves... (ok, thats a rather common way of doing it, but a lot of ppl also just do trees with a straight trunk and what looks like a green bubbly cloud on top)
very nice

I like these trees... they're very elongated and seem to wrap around the composition in a sort of ornamental way.

Also, thanks.
Well, maybe it is true - maybe it is because organics don't need too specified forms and not so clean rendering to look nice, heh. (Yeah, I'm a slack mostly)

haha, yeah, that's true, but they also call for specific details in color rendering....at least when you look at them close up. From far away, its just a shadow stick XD

Shadowy sticks - hey, that's a positive aspect when you need to fill an image with lots of foilage and wood xD
