Description please keep in mind I DONT KNOW HOW TO PROPERLY MAKE A TUTORIAL >AΒ This was requested by who had some trouble drawing skeletons/skulls and asked for some advice (the character in the middle belongs to them)
If anyone has trouble with anatomy, feel free to send a note!

SO! Where does one start? with references of course! (I googled canine skulls to find those photos)
try to deconstruct the complex from into easier geometric ones, something that is easier to adapt to -your- drawing style,, For a profile view of a skull, as an example, I often start with an squar-ish oval shape, seen in the upper right corner drawn in blue,, then I just place circles for where the nose, eyes are and where the row of teeth should stop. I often use that form too, when I'm having trouble finding the right proportions to a canine face. Tho the exact placement of the circles, come from intuition. In profile view, the eye circle often goes where the head-circle ends (I hope this makes sense????)

However, you can have the perfect skull shape, but in the end (in my opinion) the teeth are what gives a skull, it's morbid distinctive look. knowing where which kind of tooth is placed, is very helpful for when you're even drawing alive canines. You can improve your placement, if you think of the very frontal teeth as one entity,, so from the front, you would draw the very frontal rows in a square,, viewed from directly ontop, the teeth curve outwards and are half-moon shaped. If you thinkg about which tooth comes first (in frontal perspective) then the lower canine-fangs are infront of the upper canine-fangs, all the while they are in curved shape.

((SIDE NOTE: when you got the hang of the curving shapes, and the placement of the teeth,, you can try to change things up since every set of jaw is a bit different,, because even if the lower fangs are infront, the upper fang often overlaps the lower one if you think in profile view,,, So if seen from the side, you would see more of the upper fang than the lower one. ))
I hope this makes somewhat sense,, getting the teeth right, might take some difficulties,, it took me quite some trial and error, to get used to the curving, the direction, the placement, etc of them

Also, as seen in the very bottom left, it might be a bit difficult to draw your canine, ontop of a skeleton as base (I definitely have some troubles with that) however, using skeleton attributes, can be very helpful if you mix it with your normal constuction sketch!
And if you feel like your canine looks a bit wonky, try drawing/sketching its skeleton ontop! maybe you'll find that one leg is longer than the other, based on lenghts of the bones!

So yeah, I'm not very sure what exactly needs more explaining, or less explaining. If there are any specific questions, or if anyone has any trouble with a drawing, feel free to send it my way c: I'll do my best to help
