On wednesdays our lunch breaks are 1 hour longer than usual (because anyone who picked to take latin classes would then need that extra hour by now) everyone else has 1 hour less school on that day. Which meeans I can bring my laptop and draw during 2 hours :0

math test went well btw Its a bit irritating that I constantly feel under pressure to get good, all while doing just fine

you're always studying and testing and studying. you must be the most A+ student they ever had.

I do am ambitious, but comparitavely to the guys from maths or language department we from the arts don't have to work half as hard to get good (the fact that I can memorize fairly well within 1-2 hours pure focus doesnt help my habit to wait until the last moment to start learning) and I do know that I'm the most active in arts from the entire class,, which does do lead to really damn good grades rn.
Tho the biggest issue with keeping up all of that would be my current non-existent social life. so basically my logical reasoning upon being asked to meet up goes like:
"I want a career in art, what will make me better at art? hm oh is it drawing whenever I have the energy to or feel like it and finish school with ok grades? ok. oh my friends want to go out this evening? I wont have time or energy to draw in that case, plus the people I do want to be with I'll see in school. hmm going out wont be necessary today"
Being an introvert and a tad apathetic toward socializing definitely doesnt help that reasoning. I've told my concerned friends that once I won't see them automatically 5 times a week, I'll definitely take more initiatives to go out and have more energy for that as well (since all that school-stress is no longer a thing at that point) but I'm not yet 100% sure of that myself either :I
so we'll see

ah yes gotta balance life between school-passions-social, pick 2 max, the ole' dilemma.
my advice is worthless here cause i put no value on the social part... work 'till you drop, it's all that matters. if there's time for social good but never sacrifice work time/energy for social unless you need it/really want it. friends won't help you as much as you can help yourself by being successful.
like i said, you seem to have very different opinions in this regard. but eyy i'm sure your buddies gotta understand the way things are!

Hmm well I might as well mention that those friends (3-4 peeple) can make for some real quality time (i.e. talking about dat deep psychological stuff openminded and switch without segway to weeb jokes, them good friends), it's just been a bit tricky (for me at least) since one of them is the definition of an extrovert and plans everything at anytime with as many peeps as possible,, the good thing is that those guys do understand what it actually means when I say I'm an introvert
I value their company, but during this last year I did end up investing purely into the money-getting future thing,, I went to maybe 1 social thing during that. So I guess in the end I would simply prefer to have some minimal balance
in other news I'm gonna go watch a movie this saturday (4 days before exams, but whatever I wanted see that King arthur thing anyway, I got hyped from the cool-looking trailer)

good friends, i see, good friends. they may be worth more, then. : ) a good friend is indeed going to be worth the effort.
and of course, they understand you, and i'm sure they are supportive of you progressing in your desired area and carrer.
