First of all, I really like this work! :3 There's a nice shading and the whole picture looks so soft<3 I love how you have used a different sized lineart! (or something, i'm not good at english. x3)

But there is few things that are bothering me. I think the most bothering thing is that arm. For me, it looks a bit too short. : o

And then, I must say that her head is just a little too large. :v But the hair is VERY nicely done, I adore it. I also like how you've done her chlothes, the shading is suberb<3

I hope that this was a good critique, it's my first one ever. x3

you're right, that arm is a little off, I don't know how I never noticed that and I think the head's strange because of that ton of hair!

For the different sized lines, the term we use is called 'line quality'. Using the different sized lines adds varied weights.

Thank you soooo much for this critique.
You are amazing!

The title "Solitude" really fits this image well. The feeling of loneliness and being rejected lies heavy on the athmosphere, and the black and white colouring makes the girl even bleaker. I like how the girl is looking away from the wiever, it's almost symbolic. The artist has a very unique and confident style, the linework is bold and gives the feeling that the artist has known exactly what she/he was doing. The shading is well done too. To be honest, I don't have anything negative to say about this one. It is perfect as it is and would make, as an example, a beautiful tattoo design.

Thank you very much! I'm glad I could project a mood with this drawing.
I never thought of it as a tattoo but that'd be pretty awesome. Like either wrapped around the ball of the shoulder or upper back/shoulder area.

Thanks again so much!

I really love the fact that her face is turned away. It adds a lot of interest to the piece.

I love the lines in this drawing. Very simple, but so effectively captures and conveys the subject and mood. Saw it here [link]

The grey work is simply beautiful. Her arm looks a little short, but other than that I see no flaws. =3
