Il aurais fallut remettre les Lucky Strike s'aurais été encore plus convainquant! Mais sinon génial, peut-être un montage du même genre mais avec une seul cigarette style "Fumer c'est comme la roulette russe un jour on finis par tomber" mais pas sur que le message passerais aussi facilement que là.
Sinon rien à dire vraiment bien fait, claire, nette et précis, le message passe tout en restant élégant et subtile sans être trop crue et choquant.
L'angle est parfait tout comme le cadrage, niveau luminosité c'est génial, peut-être laisser une empreinte de doigt sur le barillet aurais était sympas.
Voilà bonne continuation, je remplis les derniers mots requis avec n'importe nawak, sur ce ciao.

True as true can possibly be. I've lost so many people thanks to cigarettes. People say, "It relieves my stress." Or, "It calms me down."
But what people DON'T tell you is, "It's killing me, slowly." Or, "It's ruining my life." Because smoking most certainly can ruin someone's life. It can chase away your friends. It can scare away your loved ones. It can do more harm than good.
What smokers don't care about, though, is that it's actually much harder than it looks to quit smoking. They believe in their hearts, "Oh, I can quit whenever I want. It's easy~" and then, when they're diagnosed with Lung Cancer 30 or 40 years later, they think back on their lives and ask themselves, "Why did I start in the first place? Why did I pick up a cigarette?" And most of all, "Why can't I quit on my own?"
Smoking is pretty much the same as suicide. You're inflicting the death on yourself. The only downside to that fact is that it's not only killing yourself, but it's killing the people around you as well.
So in essence, you're not only killing yourself, but you're murdering the innocent nonsmokers around you. Suicide and murder. It's about as easy as picking up a gun and going on a mass murder, then killing yourself because of your clinical depression and mental instabilities.
All in all, I believe this picture shouts out the lesson many can't seem to realize: Smoking does kill. Not only yourself, but those you love and those around you, as well.
Good job. I think this picture has been one of the best depictions of that phrase, "Smoking kills." Thank you for sharing this to the world at large. And thank you for caring.

I'm a smoker, and I wholeheartedly agree. It's exceptionally difficult to stop smoking on your own, but I had to rate your critique unfair. I'm sorry.
You brought up very valid points and a well spoken argument, but the critique should be about the capture. (Composition, Impact, Exposure, etc.)
This should have been in the comment section, or in a note to the poster.

the thing i love about Smoking Kills is that it imbeds the idea of what you may as well be doing if you light up. no words needed for this piece, it speaks for itsself. I really love the concept and the way you've carried it out. It's atypical of what I normally see with the anti-smoking propaganda and due to this it is a lovely breath of fresh air [ironic...considering the photo's subject.]
I'm really in love with how professional it looks- like an actual advertisement you'd see flipping through magazines. At first I thought it was a 3D model mixed with Digital Painting, with how smudgey some of the areas look. The only part I can see that looks weird to me is the handle; it kind of melts into the shadows and looks very...nonspecific and is lost to the composition. No big loss though, being that it's not the focus anyway.
I also really like how the cigarettes are the only marginally colourful things in the photo.

Except it isn't his, he stole the idea from Ernie Cselko and is trying to profit off of his creativity. I heard he's going to try and sue this French rip off artist for any money he's made off of it. Apparently you just can't trust the French when it comes to the world of art. And like a true Frenchmen I'll bet he hides this post like a coward.

first and foremost, great composition and wonderful concept. As far as skill and talent goes you are full of it. But honestly, the crusade is a little played out.

Instead of arguing over being a vegan/vegatarian and eating plants over meat or anything lik that, as it seems most other people are doing, I'm actually going to comment on the ART. This is an amazingly deep imaged with a serious message, and therefore a simple, serious background. The dark metal of the gun contrasts well with the background and the cigarettes are well placed and their placement truly helps convey the dark message of this piece of art. When I saw this I was truly struck by the depth of this image, it popped out at me and showed an amazing metaphor describing the affects of smoking.
