thanks I did try to draw Darth V back in '09, but it came out very female and was more of a iconic/poster image than anything. I'd like to try a full illustration with a background for Darth V, though getting my skill to that level would probably take another 3 or 4 years

Whachoo talking about, you have great drawing skills now! And anyway, you only get to improve your skills by practicing like hell.

Here's a thought: you draw Darth V (or something else of your choice) now, then draw the same thing 3 or 4 years from now, and compare to see how much you've improved.

thanks! the texture is really just the brown paper, desaturated and laid over the colors.
