Usually in battles against Insurrectionists Special operation forces prefer to be subtle and discrete, leaving the big battles up to Infantry or Marines, but as the years passed SoF have, for the most part, switched there doctrine from subtlety to brute force. Since local governments prohibit the use of mechanized armor, airstrikes, combat drones or swarm drones against area's with civilian populace SoF have began using EPAA's to augment there combat capability in high intensity area's. With only a years service under it's belt the EPAA's have become a mainstay of SoF squads and elite infantry for all branches of the military.
