Personality:
This fellah is very calm, unaturally so compared to other foals we have had, he watches everything with those white pupils of his he got from his mother. He stands and accepts everything, 'like a saint' has begun to be the catch phrase around him, if he becomes scared he doesnt dart or kick, just trembles and sweats untill he feels reasurred. He feels relaxed when amongst children, as they fuss over and pett him, hes been known to fall asleap under the attention.

We have noticed that when in the paddock with the other foals he will often stand up on something, a hillock/mound, large rock, fallen long, as long as hes above everyone so he can watch them, sometimes, we'll find the other foals laying exhausted at his feet after playing. Thats where he got his name, like a preacher, the foals gathering as if he has something important to say.

He doesnt play fight with the other foals, he prefers the racing games and mimicking games.

Sometimes he will vocalise, but its rare, always just one sound and often very loud, as if drawing attention to himself, he will then sigh and return to whatever is happening at the time.

He loves his summer and winter cover, and keeps it well away from the horses that would tear his rug. We have seen only one violent display, that was when he first got his rug and a paticularly rambuncious foal tore it right off him, he almost bit the other's ear off.
