Blurring is due to me not using flash to get his eyes open/ (more importantly) not blind him since I was right in his face lol , but otherwise I do enjoy this picture of Socrates

aww, hes such an adorable kitty! I really like how this picture turned out, though its a little blurry i still like it! I really hope you take more col animal pictures like this!
Also, pictures of sunsets, mountains, sun rises, ect seem like some other things you should be taking pictures of! I'd honestly really like to see a sunset over a mountain/forest, and a sunset over the beach, where the waves are small and calm, and the sun makes beautiful colors across the sky~ Also, animal photography seems like something you should keep doing, since this picture came out good!

This is a great close up pic. I love the angle and how you have focused on his eyes. I would not say there is not a lot of blurring perhaps maybe a bit in the body but I would just say it gives the [pic a better effect as it brings the focaus to the face and give the photo a warm glow.
On a constructive not I would say it would have better if you got his ears in as he looks a bit naked with out them. Alternatively you could step back so his whole body is in or you could have focused purely on the face.

I agree with you. I see what you mean about his ears, and if I wasn't so close to him I could've been able to get them in. It does make it seem like something is missing regardless if you know it has ears or not it's nice to see xD Plus they're an interesting feature on the animal I think

This little guy is so adorable, I just wanna snuggle him until the end of the world.
I think that the angle is nice, but the background is a bit... blah. X3 I think it would look really cool for him to be in a patch of flowers, or you could edit him into some grass. But this is really nice too, considering that it's more natural. (It probably would much harder to get a cat to stay in the grass.)

You;re right about the background. I was bored alone at my sisters and she has the newer version of my camera so I was like eh why not xD He was being extra cute outside the glass window but I couldn't get very good pictures :/ But inside I got this one haha I do see lots of pictures of cats outside, but jeez all I wonder is how you got them to not sprint off. It's definitely a goal of mine to get outdoor pictures of cats.....I need to get an outdoor cat now haha

This cat's eyes are so lovely and clear. It looks like a very health cat; that I'd bet can get in trouble time to time. I also appreciate how clean the carpet looks, especially since it is white. I've seen a lot of cute pet photos before, but few with a clean floor.

This is such an adorable kitty! You really are great at photography, and I consider you as an inspiration to me, since I wish to be a photographer.
I hope you take many more pictures of cats, and post them for us to view and share with friends. Sometimes it's fun just to take pictures all day!
I think that you should try to take pictures at different angels, and allow creativity and originality to enter your photographs.
You should also try to take pictures of scenes like sunsets, rivers, or natural landscapes such as hills or valleys in the area you live in.

You know I had the perfect opportunity to get a shot of a night sky FULL of stars, and beautiful sunsets but I haven't looked very much into all the manual settings on my camera to really bring out those shots. Β :/ But I definitely will try!Β
I tried being creative with the water photograph I have up, I aw a creek so I was taking low angle photos just for fun and I got a couple good ones, another I'll post later
And yes, I will post more cat photos

Definitely a cute picture! I think the way the picture is blurred creates a very nice effect, particuarely in the cat's whiskers. If only you could have gotten that picture when he was outside in the grass! I realize that may have been a bit impossible, and you weren't docked for it. There's really not much more to say except to point out that another way you could have done this is to have two focuses in the picture. The cat in one third of the picture, then the other two thrids would take up the other two-thirds of the picture. For example, the cat could be lying in the grass, while a huge lion takes up the rest of the picture (you might not have lions on hand, but just for an example). Keep up the good work!

I really appreciate your critique and am glad you were so fond of this. The grass idea is fantastic, when I get a back yard I'll toss them out there and try and get some good photos haha Unfortunately, I have no lion :/ Although that would be amazing! For right now I am an amateur and do hope to get in some good wildlife photographs, but thank you once again for taking the time to critique this! You have given me some great insight that I will use from now onΒ Β
