Description Who's that crab!?

It's...

Nectocarcinus integrifrons (Rough rock crab, red swimmer crab, two-toned crab)!

Still have two more crabs to go. Should have been done by now but had major issues with my Wacom driver, resulting in about 2 hours worth of drawing time installing, un-installing drivers etc. Got it sorted finally.

NATIVE

Key features

- 4 lateral teeth on either side of the eyes.
- Smooth frontal region between the eyes.
- Circular carapace.
- Size of carapace width: up to 8 cm wide.
- No distinct swimming paddles on hind legs (is a swimmer crab).
- Long setae (hairs) on all legs.
- Distinct colour separation between brown and cream/pink on the carapace (about 2/3 of the way down)

Other features

- Claws are of similar size and usually black-tipped.
- Brown to dark red in colour, while the bottom half of the crab is usually cream or pale pink/yellow.
